October 20th, 2024: SCHO members attended the Los Angeles First United Methodist Church Sunday service to provide healthcare information and clarifications on insurance coverages and plans, as well as provide contact information for specific supplementary resources. We were able to enroll one person in health insurance as well!

October 19th, 2024: We recently partnered with USC Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program at the LA Red Shield Community Center to provide general health insurance information in anticipation of the upcoming Open Enrollment Period starting November 1st. We were also able to enroll 2 people through our student Certified Enrollment Counselors!

March 3rd, 2024: SCHO members worked with Alexandria House, a transitional residence and house of hospitality for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelter to economic stability and permanent housing, for their walkathon to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their founding member, Judy Vaughn.
