March 1st, 2025: SCHO Retreat! This past weekend, we had a blast at our Six Flags retreat, going on too many rollercoasters to count. Tune in next time for the next edition of SCHO: Retreat!

February 22nd & 23rd, 2025: Outside of our outreach events at places like LAFUMC and the Skid Row Refresh Spot, our partnership with the Los Angeles Public Library system has given us the chance to table at libraries all over the city! We went to the Exposition Branch Library on Saturday and Sunday to provide information about health coverage and speak with individuals from all different backgrounds.

February 21st, March 7th, & April 4th, 2025: We volunteered at the Skid Row Refresh Spot, a recurring outreach event located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles where we were able to speak with many different individuals clarifying benefits of their health insurance and also directly connect them with Covered California representatives regarding case-specific inquiries!

February 2nd, March 9th, & April 6th, 2025: SCHO members attended the Los Angeles First United Methodist Church Sunday service to provide healthcare information and clarifications on insurance coverages and plans, as well as provide contact information for specific supplementary resources like local food banks and sanitary stations. We were able to successfully enroll multiple individuals in health insurance!

November 10th & 17th, 2024: SCHO members tabled outside of the St. Agnes Catholic Church Sunday service in partnership with USC KDSAP to provide any health coverage and insurance information to those who were screened for kidney disease!​​​​​
